Golf Waterloo: Waterloo Course

The Waterloo Course is one of two championship layouts at Waterloo Golf Club, located in Shefford, Québec, approximately 55 minutes east of Montréal in the beautiful Eastern Townships. Opened in 1961, this mature parkland course is renowned for its peaceful woodland setting, tree-lined fairways, and strategic design that rewards precision over power. It remains a favourite among golfers seeking a traditional golfing experience in a natural environment. Playing to a par 72, the Waterloo Course measures 6,303 yards from the Blue tees and carries a course rating of 70.2 with a slope rating of 125. The layout features mature forests, numerous bunkers, well-positioned water hazards, and gently undulating greens. While not exceptionally long, the course demands accurate tee shots and careful approach play, making it enjoyable for golfers of all skill levels. Waterloo Golf Club also offers a driving range, putting green, short-game practice facilities, professional instruction, fully stocked pro shop, clubhouse, restaurant with terrace, banquet and wedding facilities, and tournament services.
