Westlock Golf Club

Westlock Golf Club is an 18-hole championship public golf course located just east of the Town of Westlock, approximately one hour north of Edmonton, Alberta. Originally established in 1935 as a seven-hole course, it has grown into one of northern Alberta's premier public golf destinations. The layout combines two distinct styles of golf: a traditional, tree-lined front nine with tighter fairways and smaller greens, followed by a more open back nine featuring wider fairways, large undulating greens, and numerous water hazards. The scenic Wabash Creek meanders throughout the property, coming into play on many holes and adding both beauty and strategic challenge. Playing 6,687 yards from the championship (Blue) tees, the par-72 course rewards golfers who combine accuracy with smart course management. Water hazards influence play on much of the back nine, while mature trees, well-positioned bunkers, and smooth putting surfaces provide a rewarding test for golfers of all abilities. Multiple tee boxes make the course enjoyable for beginners and experienced players alike. Westlock Golf Club also features one of Alberta's finest practice facilities, including a spacious two-tier grass driving range, dedicated chipping and bunker practice area, and a large putting green. Additional amenities include a modern clubhouse, fully licensed restaurant and patio, pro shop, tournament facilities, PGA instruction, and a full-service RV park overlooking the course.
