Spring (April - May)
Spring in Michigan is a transitional season with cool to mild temperatures ranging from the 40s to 60s°F. Courses like The Highlands (Donald Ross) thaw out but may have soft conditions and occasional frost delays, especially in April. Daylight increases from about 12 to 15 hours, offering more playtime by late May. Crowds are lighter compared to summer, and pricing is generally lower on green fees and lodging. However, unpredictable weather and some course closures on early-season days require flexible scheduling.
